Plus Size?
i was wondering from what size is it considered “Plus Size” in modeling. I was thinking it was over size 5 or 8?
Plus size models get booked by the top agencies (Ford, Wilhelmina, Click, Elite, Next, et al) starting at szie 8 and go up through size 16/18. You will find girls bigger than that getting sporadic jobs here and there, but the most requested sizes are 8-14.
As with straight size models, plus size models must be tall (at least 5’8″, with a preference for those who are 5’10″), well-proportioned, toned, have great skin, hair and teeth, be photogenic and have the time and money to get their careers off of the ground.
